Flowers are an irresistible subject. So many hours of my days from spring until fall are spent in my gardens, and it is the place in the whole world that makes me the happiest and makes me feel the most alive. It is more than the flowers with their colors, fragrances, personalities and forms. It includes the smell of the earth after a rain, the sound of frogs and birds in the spring and the crickets in late summer. It is working alongside the bees and the ants who are so industrious. It is experiencing the miracle of life going through another cycle, offering eternal hope.
